Five Cows

Five Cows only branch, as far as I know, is only in Trinoma. I love this place though. Their ice cream cakes are also interesting and something new. Aside from their desserts, they also have a variety of meals.

Sorry again that I can’t remember the names of the dishes, but I do remember that they are affordable and delicious.

UCC

Take a breather from Starbucks and try out this cafe from Japan. They also have a variety of interesting menu but if you have already eaten and looking for a dessert or somewhere to hang out, UCC is nice bet. Menu may be pricey but surely their food and the place’s ambiance make a visit worth it.

Being a tea lover, my personal favorite (as photographed above) in this place is their hot teas.

Pepper Lunch

A steak restaurant from Japan. Initially accessible in Power Plant Mall in Makati but now available in other famous malls here in the Philippines.

I though that the serving fell short obviously to fit a filipino’s budget. That said, serving is small but you have the option to “double” the meat quantity for an additional fee which made it more expensive. Check out the menu for yourselves.

First time dining is an experience because of the DIY factor of cooking your own food. A definite must try for the curious.

Bag of Beans

Bag of Beans is located along the main road of Tagaytay and meters away from Casino Filipino. The place seems to be famous for their coffee but I never tried drinking one. I know this place for their delicious desserts! They also have main courses.

Apple pie for the win!

Diner’s Restaurant

A hole in the wall diner in Tagaytay. The place is located along the main road but it will not be easy to find.

The star is clearly their bulalo dish but personally, I didn’t anything special. They have a variety of already cooked dishes displayed as you enter. A typical canteen setup.

Prices are a little expensive but the charming little place is a break from the usual Tagaytay luxury dining.
